QUOTE OF THE DAY

"There aren't no rules around there. We're trying to accomplish something."

Thomas Edison
DO WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU DO
Most people live their life as reaction to events that happen around them, and very few create events and define how they will live their Lives...

You might find yourself struggling to meet months end, or maybe not able to afford some of the things you've always wanted; and it's not getting any easier for you in your job.
Opening your own business is either not that simple or just not for you. So how do you make more money? Work overtime? Get a second job? Or just hope to win the lottery?
The majority of people enter in what we call a negative loop, which means that as you work harder things become even harder for you. As a matter of fact the majority of newly created business enter in that negative loop.

So here is how you get out of this loop and jump on a positive one:

1- Have a clear direct goal: When I ask participants in my workshops about where they see themselves in the coming five years, the majority either do not have a clue or will answer spontaneously “i’d like to be better” or “Maybe a manager....I don’t know” or my favorite one “Who doesn’t want to become better”

The problem with those answers is that they are very loose and lack direction.  As you will not reach anywhere in you car if you don’t have a direction, you will not reach anywhere in your career and personal life if you don't set a direction for that as well.

2- Prepare for opportunities: Once you know your destination you will be able to create your own luck (Luck= Preparation + Opportunities). Do not think of this as a spiritual game or an optimistic approach; this is totally pragmatic, as when you know what you want, you will be able to see very clearly the opportunities that are related to your goal. And there is nothing worse that seeing an opportunity passing by without being able to do anything about it. So go ahead check your personal tool kit and start preparing yourself to maximize the use of the opportunities.

3- Engage. When you are totally immersed in your work, when you enjoy what you do you will be able to do more with much less and by this you will providing value  to everyone around you. So engage yourself, engage your customers and engage everyone around you. This will not only allow people to believe in you and in your ideas, it will also give the feeling of playing all the time.

4- Think of scarcity The problem with the majority of people is that they think that everything around them is in limited quantities, they tend to despise other people for making money. Successful people have the attitude of scarcity vs. abundance; that means they always find opportunities even in the darkest moments. "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." Albert Einstein
